Recently, East Quogue Elementary School students have been exploring music, science and the arts through engaging lessons and events.

Three sixth grade student-scientists, Chris Buono, Hailey Donahoe and Aidan Westra, were named winners of the annual science fair, and sixth grade students in Jackie Alessi’s class were tasked with creating the tallest plastic egg structure possible as part of a STEM challenge.

Music students have been showcasing their creative abilities as they create their own songs and mix music electronically. And continuing the excitement throughout the school building, the 2019 Jazz Band has begun its rehearsals for the Spring Concert performance on May 15 at 7 p.m.
