The psychology department provides several services to students and their families. Among the services provided are behavioral, cognitive and emotional assessments to determine an individual student's strengths and weaknesses in these areas. Counseling services may also be provided on both formal and informal levels to help students' social and emotional progress.
Additionally, we may consult with parents, teachers and other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support in their educational experience. We can also assist families in putting them in touch with various agencies that provide services beyond the school environment. Please contact us for further information.
The Cody Center Workshop for Autism and Developmental Disabilities is hosting a number of workshops. The Center is affiliated with the Health Science Center at the State University at Stony Brook. Click here for information and directions.
