Budget Information 2020-21 


To participate in the May 19, 2020 Annual Budget Vote and Election of Board of Education Trustees, you must be registered to vote.  Registration requires that you must be:

  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • Must be a resident of East Quogue for 30 days prior to the vote
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be registered to vote


If you moved from another address, you must re-register.  You need not register if you did not move since you last voted or since you last registered to vote, and if, during the last four years, you either

  • Voted in the general election in Suffolk County
  • Voted in an East Quogue School District election
  • Registered with the Suffolk County Board of Elections
  • Registered with the East Quogue School District


Voter Registration
Qualified residents may register to vote on any school day from 8:30am to 3:30pm, in the District Clerk’s office.  You may register with the District Clerk during regular school hours up to May 14, 2020.

The final hours to register for this vote will be May 14, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the school. For more information please call the District Clerk, Lenore Rezza, at 631.653.5210.

Applications for absentee ballots are available in the District Clerk’s Office at the East Quogue Elementary School or on the District’s website (see below).  Applications will be issued for the following reasons: business, studies, vacation, illness or disability.  Residents requiring absentee ballots, which are to be received via the mail, must submit an application to the District Clerk no later than Tuesday, May 12, 2020.  Residents requiring absentee ballots, which are to be picked up in person, must submit an application to the District Clerk no later than Monday, May 18, 2020.

All completed absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk, no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
