Rabbit Butterfly   Toad

Welcome to East Quogue's Science page. We look forward to another great year filled with wonder and excitement for our students.
In a lab atmosphere, and alongside our friendly animal friends, the teachers and children will explore a vast array of topics. Many of these topics include space, buoyancy, butterflies, rockets, magnets, toads, plants, electrical circuits, and much more.

In addition to what will be learned in the classroom, the sixth graders have focused their attention on nutrition for an enrichment period once a week. During this period they will do tasks such as checking their food intake on the computer, researching proper exercise techniques, or simply finding a recipe online to discuss in class all in an effort to better their health.

We will also have our school science fair later in the year. This will be a chance for all the students to showcase their passion for the subject in front of their families, friends, and teachers. There will be further information posted when the time comes. Please check back for any new things that are going on in the science lab. Thank You!
