The East Quogue School District is thrilled to share that Week Two of the WildCATs Summer Program was another fantastic week filled with enriching experiences and unforgettable moments! Our campers had the opportunity to create meaningful connections with their peers through engaging activities focused on skill-building and teamwork.

*Holtsville Ecology Site Visit:Campers and staff braved the heat to learn about the animals at the Holtsville Ecology Site. We discovered how these animals were rescued and are now being nursed back to health or protected in their environment.

*Long Island Science Center Visit:We were delighted to host the Long Island Science Center, where campers learned how to make ice cream using just a few ingredients and some hard work. It was a delicious and educational experience.

*Quogue Wildlife Refuge:Our visit to the Quogue Wildlife Refuge did not disappoint. Campers were fascinated by the variety of animals and gained insight into the wildlife that resides on Long Island.

*Fun Friday:Our week culminated in another amazing Fun Friday. Campers and staff enjoyed playing human-sized Hungry, Hungry Hippos, participating in multiple water games, and indulging in treats from Mister Softee.

The district is incredibly proud of the campers and staff for their enthusiasm and energy. The friendships and memories being made this summer are truly special.
