Sixth grader Owen Stone received a proclamation from the Suffolk County Legislature on June 25 in Riverhead. Presented by Legislator Ann Welker, he was honored for having been the sixth grade winner in the Brookhaven National Laboratory Elementary Science Fair. Owen’s project was titled, “Can common food help grow potatoes?”
The district congratulates Owen on this outstanding accomplishment.
