District students sharpened their fire safety skills by rendering their knowledge of the subject on posters during the East Quogue Fire Department’s annual Fire Safety Poster Contest.

The winners included first through third place, respectively:
Kindergarten: Daniella Chavez Sarania, David Naranjo and Shepard D’Agath
First grade: Ben Butler, Peyton Foster and Buse Ozdemia
Second grade: Brooke Langan, Reid Langan and Scarlet Butler
Third grade: Emma Hughs, Ulka Rabia Ozdemir and Ella Smith
Fourth grade: Jake Gramaldi, Liana Roman and Natasha Ramos Che
Fifth grade: Megan Lovane, Simon Burns and Ava Rychman
Sixth grade: Berk Ozkazang, Lindsay Alban and Sheila Greiner

The district congratulates the students and thanks the East Quogue Fire Department and Ms. Rosenberg for their support and continued dedication to the students and the district.
