Third grade students are in the middle of their first social studies unit about geography.So far, they have identified the continents and oceans, various landforms and water features and different kinds of maps. Students have been developing good study habits as they have already prepared for some tests and quizzes.In math, the students are learning about multiplication, including patterns, properties, and strategies.As readers, they are now enjoying our second Magic Tree House whole-class book, which is giving them a chance to compare and contrast books in the series. Third graders will begin planning for their first writing project, where they will create their own Magic Tree House story.
