During a recent board of education meeting, East Quogue Elementary School students were recognized for a variety of accomplishments and for being role models for their peers.

Gary Trey Lavery III was awarded Art Student of the Month by teacher Lindsay Rosenberg, and Sadie Buschor received the PTA Student of the Month. Additionally, Lilianna Allegretta, Pearl Lian, Angel Ramon-Gonzalez and Alexander Quinteros received the Principal Choice Award.

The district congratulates each of the student-honorees.
