The East Quogue community gathered in the school garden on Sept. 20 to celebrate the Harvest Moon with an evening of reflection and renewal. The festival, now in its third year, is an event that focuses on new beginnings and awakenings like that of the new school year.
Participants toured the school garden as it winds down for the fall season, painted rocks for the school’s Kindness Garden, and decorated paper lanterns. There was also ample time to gaze at the autumn sky.
The event not only provided time for the community to mingle but reawakened a sense of school community.
Thank you, Mrs. Rempe and all volunteers for creating another special event for the East Quogue community.
