The month of May is full of excitement for first grade. The students celebrated Mother’s Day by making a lovely gift and card for our mothers.In math, they are learning about 2D and 3D shapes and how to identify and count the number of sides and vertices.In writing, the students are working hard developing a character and creating their own story using all the story elements.They are also continuing to strengthen their reading muscles each day by listening to and reading many different stories throughout the day.
